Abandoned

Abandoned

"Come away with me," he said.
And leave the rest behind."

I pondered the idea briefly, unsure of the promises he'd made me. Afraid of what the future might hold.

Then I stepped outside of myself and took his hand.

I never even knew I had wings...

  5. Love this - not all is a loss in abandonment. Sometimes, it was just a stage and this is the perfect illustration of that. Wonderful!
