Flawed?

Some would say it's a flawed image. I used to.

Now I shoot them on purpose. There's a mystery and beauty to them I can't explain. In my mind I say to myself,

"If I could paint, this is what it would look like."

But I guess I do paint ~ with light. I've started a collection of my paintings ~flaws and all.

  1. I love these types of images. I make them too. On occasion. Mostly because others don't seem to understand the mystique in them...so mysteriously beautiful...and a feeling of 'out of reach'...like ripples in the water...if you touch it, even slightly, it will disappear...

    Beautiful!

  2. Here's the difference. If you take just one, it's a mistake. If you take a whole bunch, then it's an experimental series.

  3. I also love this. What is he holding? Is it a camera to take a photo of you?

  4. I think Monet did actually paint the way he did because his vision was so poor - reminds me of your "flawed" photo. I'd say Monet is pretty good company...nicely done!
