Due to low numbers, regarding the photos we received for the calendar giveaway, we have had to cancel our contest. Maybe in the future we'll put together another giveaway to celebrate our group, but we can't do it without your help. As we continue to go through our year of sharing and learning and maybe even some laughing, we want to encourage you to participate in our weekly themes. It's only through all of you, that this site is even possible. If you have any suggestions for us at anytime regarding anything, we are always willing to listen.
We will continue to take names for the Valentine Secret Admirer exchange through Friday, January 14. At that time, all participants will receive the name and address of someone to send a note, a card or a (handmade) gift to over the Valentine weekend. Come on and play with us...it will be fun !
As always, our goal continues to be gathering groups of people together through photos and creative abilities and now that the holidays are over and schedules are back on track, we hope you can continue to join us on a regular basis.

When we started this blog a few months back, we didn't realize that the site would take off quite the way that it did. We started out as three gals with an idea and now have 20-30 contributors a week and as of today we have 108 followers! This site started as giving contributors a place to post a weekly photo and has been a place where people from all over the world come on a weekly basis to get to know each other. We are so excited about this growth!
With the fresh new year, we thought we should celebrate the passage of time and growth with a contest/giveaway! The winner of this giveaway will receive a lens.us.together calendar, which will include photographs taken and voted on by you and designed by Dani, Char and Beth. Please pay close attention to the guidelines, as this is going to be a bit of a process!
Step 1) Send a photograph of your choice to lensustogether@gmail.com by 12 p.m. CST, Saturday, January 9. The photos must be in a horizontal format and can be taken at any time (meaning they don't have to be taken this week or posted on this blog.) Please label all emails "calendar." Step 2) A collection of these photographs will be posted at www.lensustogether.blogspot.com on Sunday, January 10. Step 3) Send an email to lensustogether@gmail.com by Wednesday, January 13. Please enter "vote" in the subject line. Names will not be included with the photographs-please do not put any stamps on your photograph. Step 4) The top 12 vote recipients will be included in the first lens.us.together calendar. Step 5) Everyone who contributes a photograph and/or votes (we hope you'll do both) will be entered to win a random number drawing. Step 6) We will announce the winning photographs and calendar winner on Thursday, January 14. (Don't worry, there will be reminders).
