Green

Is it me...or are you noticing a wee bit more green around lately?  Around mid March it seems that all begins to wake from winters long sleep.  Over night buds appear, the days become longer and life begins to stir.  I thought green would be a fun theme...with St. Pat's day coming up and spring right around the corner.  And green is my very favorite color! :)  Ahhh...I can even smell green in the air.

Here is some great healing qualities about the color green.

Green is the color of nature, fertility, and life. Grass green is the most restful color. Green symbolizes self-respect and well being. Green is the color of balance. It also means learning, growth and harmony. Green is favored by well balanced people. Green symbolizes the master healer and the life force. You should eat raw green foods for good health. Friday is the day of green. Green jade is a sacred stone of Asia.
Green contains the powerful energies of nature, growth, desire to expand or increase. Balance and a sense of order are found in the color green. Change and transformation is necessary for growth, and so this ability to sustain changes is also a part of the energy of green.
I look forward to seeing all the beautiful green photos this week!

New perspective

We see these all the time...
but sometimes it's nice to turn it inside out.

Yes, a new perspective.

A little retro.

A little modern.

How refreshing!

Shadows - side by side

GAH!  So late this week!

I took this over the summer and I thought it was so cool.

Father and daughter.  I just loved how clear the shadows were.

Wishes

I chose a word to guide me through 2010.

...Blooming...

I wish that you bloom in our own right.

I wish that you all stop and smell the roses more often.

I wish that you grow, flourish, and blossom.

I wish that this year brings you beauty, peace and blessings.

Happy New Year to you.
