Icing Left Behind

When I was a kid, I used to put up with the cake just for the frosting.

Now I push aside most of the frosting to get to the cake.

Although this frosting was delicious.

It was that whipped cream kind of frosting.

But I left it behind anyway...

Sometimes you have to know when to say when.

Living Here

While I live by a lake I do not live on a lake. I don't get to wake up every morning to the sun rising over the water, that is my dream but I do get to see a scene like this as I drive by it on my way to work. That in itself, is what keeps me going everyday.
