Holiday

I want to wish everyone on Lens.Us.Together a very happy Holiday Season... with all the hustle and bustle, it is hard to slow down and appreciate all the goodness this season has to offer. Friends... family... Gratitude towards others... white lights... Christmas trees... Christmas carols... hot chocolate... a crackling fire... warm fuzzy slippers... hand written cards.... candy canes... and children's laughter to name a few... how about you?

A Childhood Passion

I can remember doing hand stands in the front yard for hours! Over and over again, until I mastered the front-walk-over! Some things don't change. Now, I watch my daughter outside in the front yard, doing the same thing, for hours!!

Favorite Cup

Do you have a favorite cup to drink your coffee/tea in? I do.
I actually have favorites for each time of the year. Right now I am loving this sweet cup from Anthropologie that a dear friend gave me for my birthday. Each cup has a special meaning to me, and each morning it brings me happiness when I am smelling the fresh brewed coffee in it! Have a wonderful day!

abandoned

I have abandoned and neglected my tomato plants.
Gone are the delicious ripe savory tastes of my summer tomatoes.
Have a wonderful weekend...

I Live Here

photograph by Laura Trevey
Virginia's gorgeous Blue Ridge mountains provide a backdrop to many of my landscapes. The Blue Ridge Mountains are noted for their bluish color when seen from a distance. As we approach the Fall season, the colors of the leaves turning are a sight to see.
