Abandoned? I will never.....

Treasures
I’ve abandoned the idea that new cameras are a must. My old favorites are these two; my daddy’s Polaroid Electric Eye and my granddaddy’s Holiday Flash Brownie.

Additional things I will try to abandon:
~thoughts of worry, fear, jealousy, dread, and rejection.
~the notion of “I can’t”
~the silence and the darkness

Things I will not abandon:
~my God, family, and friends
~what is right and moral.
~all things that make me happy

    I love the photo, and have a few of these old cameras around which I can NOT abandon, either. Thank you for your poem, as well. I hadn't thought of this category this way...now my mind is whiring.
