first, mama showed up with one kitty. the littlest teeny bitty kitty i have ever seen. then, four more teeny bitty kitties showed up. then, yet another. five kitties are orange & tiger striped like mama, but there's one that has calico in it. so, here i am....with a porch full of orange and meowing. guess what i did today instead of get work done...that's right, i bought kitty food ;o)
at first, i named mama "morning" and the kitty "sunshine". now i'm just calling them KC & the sunshine band, lol.
love + luck + bliss,

That cat has a hilarious expression when she meows. I'm glad she found someone who will give her (and by extension, her itty bitty babies) food.
ReplyDeleteBless you -- and lovely photograph for the theme.
Sweet! I'm glad they found you!
ReplyDeleteoh such lucky kitties to have found you...great name too!
ReplyDeleteAwww, such a cutie!
ReplyDeleteYeah for the lucky mamma & her babies and yeah for you! How wonderful of you and I LOVE the photo.
ReplyDeleteLOL love the story about the names - and such a sweet kittie - I've always wanted an orange one and have never had one.
ReplyDeleteKc and the Sunshine Band what a wonderful name and your sweet for looking after them all. She's a cutie.
ReplyDeleteI love ginger cats and if I was to own a cat it would have to be ginger.
ReplyDeleteOh how sweet...KC and the sunshine band! Are you keeping them all?
ReplyDeleteAnother fellow kitty rescuer! I love the name...so fitting!
ReplyDeleteI just rescued a white cat with a orange-striped ears and tail and a patch on his forehead. He was starving, of course, and I'm slowly getting him used to being inside in our 3-season room. Unfortunately, he still won't use the litter box, preferring to go outside. He's really sweet though, and I've already told DH that he will have to build him an insulated house for the winter.
The captured expression says to me (w/a bit of exhaustion), "yeah.... they're all mine". How precious.
ReplyDeleteKC and the Sunshine band. Great name! I am terrible at naming pets. We had a cat I named Kitty K Kat...not very imaginative.
ReplyDeleteKC and the Sunshine Band -- that's hilarious! That's one lucky bunch of kitties.
ReplyDelete:-)
I love orange cat's and have always had one up until a few years ago. Great shot, and perfect for the orange theme.
ReplyDeletei think this is a very smart mama who knew which house to pick -- the one with the kind-hearted lady who loves orange!
ReplyDeletethank you so much, ladies!
ReplyDeletei have no idea if i really should keep them all, lol.....then again, i do live in the boonies, so there's plenty of room....on the porch, in the barn..scary part is last night i almost moved them all into the house. can't do that, though, my angel is allergic ;o( & he hates it too cause he's really enjoying the sunshine band but has to take a lively dose of benadryl if he touches his face, lol!
i prolly will keep them. don't know if i could part with them now, lol. the mama & i have this understanding, you see. (looking around innocently)
what a face! =)
ReplyDeleteso cute! i love kitties!
ReplyDeleteGreat picture and the story is even better!...My cat was one of 5 kittens that a feral cat gave birth to outside of my house....sometimes those mothers just know where to go:)
