we look into the mirror - sometimes you look so hard that everything loses shape, form and identity. and in that chaos, we recollect the pieces - our mother's mouth, our father's nose, our eyes, maybe our grandmother's chin. we take that blur and collect them and shape them, hopefully into something we love. because we know as we love something it becomes beautiful in our eyes.

today i wish you love. love of yourself most of all. because if we love ourselves we can love others deeply....fully...wholly. and when the seas get dark and the ocean is scary - hold on to the anchor of that love - it will guide you home. it will bring you to a safe harbor. it will be the very thing - the best, truest and most wonderful thing in the world.
