Who I See

I see the wonder of a child not knowing what she is looking at, slightly afraid, a moment before she was very excited. I see a resemblance of my aunt, family traits reflected upon her face. I see the excitement of all my cousins when they used to come to the farm every summer and always the highlight was going to see the cattle with their Uncle John. On this day, cousin Robert took little Emilie continuing a family tradition! I see my past, my present, and a reminder of how it is to see something for the very first time. The little calf is looking in wonder as well, the others totally oblivious to the strangers that have ventured thier way, and life continues.
