I have never
and
I honestly mean it
had a cup of coffee
ever
~~
as a child I learned to love tea. my grandma would always make it for me with
just the perfect amount of sugar and milk and I would sit at her kitchen table
washing down warm cinnamon rolls with that tea
while I watched her iron pillow cases that she had just brought
in off the clothesline
~~
once as a young adult
a friend of mine "made" me a cup of coffee
swearing I'd love it
after she "doctored" it all up for me
and
it was horrible
~~
I have sipped my hubby's coffee
that he can't live without
and
it's horrible
~~
I have tried the flavor of the season coffee
at starbucks
and
it's horrible
~~
nope
no coffee for me
but
my tea
I'll invite you over anytime to have a cup with me

Very "from the soul" description of your love of tea. Thank you for this post and striking photo.
ReplyDeleteI love this photo!...but I can't even imagine not liking coffee:)
ReplyDeletei have to admit i prefer tea over coffee but i do like both
ReplyDeleteI love the photo, I think having tea is an experience. I love my coffee, tea on an odd day with a sore throat with honey. That is about all I drink.
ReplyDeleteI totally relate to this. I once sipped someones coffee accidentally and spat it straight back into their cup. I just do not like the taste of coffee.
ReplyDeleteI love both...I think coffee is one of those acquired tastes - like wine or the like. It grows on you. But I love both
ReplyDeleteMy sister in law has never had coffee either... It amazes me! But tea is lovely too...although I could not live without coffee.
ReplyDeleteCoffee is definitely an acquired taste. I didn't start drinking it until I was in my thirties.
ReplyDeleteI never thought I would say this about a used, squished tea bag, but it's beautiful!
I don't like coffee either...never could acquire the taste for it...but I do love the smell of a fresh opened can!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely LOVE this photograph. It is just fantastic!
ReplyDeleteThis is so beautiful. Nice shot!
