He gave it to me when I was 13 and obsessed with Garfield.
And boys.
But mostly Garfield.
He said he thought that the sentiment described me perfectly.
Mentally.
Brothers are funny like that.
I hope he'd revise his opinion now.
If he could.
Then we could share a cup of coffee and laugh about how silly we both were.
I know he would! Or maybe not... at least, not to your face. It has been my experience that brothers generally continue to pester their little sisters, well past the age where you would think it appropriate...
ReplyDelete:-) This is sweet. I love it that you've saved the mug all these years.
I loved garfield when I was 13 too. So beautiful that you still have the mug after all this time.
ReplyDeletewow you still have it...that amazes me~
ReplyDeleteNice of your brother to give you anything at that age other than a hard time.
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite things about my oldest son when her was young was the way he would giggle when he read Garfield. I told my DIL that not long ago and she said he still does.
Thanks for following my blog.
ReplyDeleteNice pictures & post!
