children have an amazing way of knowing what's important
~~
after days of cold and drizzle and early morning frosts
we finally had a sun filled
need your sun glasses kind of day
and
when I went out for my afternoon walk
the busy children who live down the street
had left their sidewalk chalk behind
along with a wonderful path of drawn arrows
letting someone know the way to their front door
~~
the sun fairy perhaps
