Carving of Canmore!

This is a Carving I made for my husband of our favorite
vacationing spot. It is about 35 minutes outside of Banff, Canada.
We have made many trips in our little Hyundai Accent
up into the mountains. My favorite thing in the Quaint little town
is the little White Church  on Main Street.
The little Motel off to the side is where we always stay and in behind
there you are at one of the main rivers that are usually filled with Mallard Ducks.
On three sides of you is the mountains! It is so beautiful and less of a tourist trap as Banff.
So I made this for my husband for his birthday one year.
Our Special Place!

  1. this is so innovative and brilliant, everyone captures moments in camera but you did even better and im certain it was harder than just a click of the camera. :) im sure your husband will always cherish this.

  2. I can picture you (even though I've never seen you) carving away with a grin, reflecting on your fond memories of this place. Almost like a little elf in the night, in secret as not to be seen until the work is complete.
