outside my window

my favorite window these days is the one in my new office. outside the window, a building is being renovated and an addition is going up to house offices and a parking deck for the additional employees. and....cute guys work on steel beams and girders. that's a bonus if you ask me.

traffic comes and goes - up and down the one way street. people walk to and fro - always bustling to get to their destination. immediately underneath is a small maple tree, proudly showing her colors of the season. the business of government is being done - if i had an office on the other side of the building you could see the capital building in my photograph.

downtown montgomery, alabama - it's a good place to be.

  2. I would be hard put to get my work accomplished, I'm afraid. I'm not too far from you for the last seventeen days, visiting my mother in Columbus, GA where I was born...though I left here at seventeen to go to nursing shool in New Orleans, and then never came home again except for visits! I like the San Francisco area much better..never gets too hot or too cold!

  3. Very cool! My view outside my work window is kind of pretty lately... A bright yellow fall tree :) Soon, the leaves will fall and I'll be looking at the graffiti walls of the building beside mine.

:-D I laughed at the traffic going up AND down the one way street ...THAT would be something to watch, too!
