Have You a Good Luck Birdie?

Someone, somewhere once told me a bird in your tree brings good luck. Ever since then, this little birdie has perched its self ¾ up my Christmas Tree. That’s where you’ll find him each year. He sits and he watches and protects all that is Christmas in our house. I can't help but smile when I walk passed the tree and catch a glimpse of him in all his yellow merriness.

  1. Good grief, Liss, perhaps that's been my problem. I'm already 65 and I've never had a bird in my Christmas tree! I will have to rectify my problem this year and see if my luck changes. Joy and blessings to you and your family this holiday and throughout the year to come!

  4. My goodness Liss - then I must be the luckiest of all! I have about 10-15 birds in my tree!! Maybe even more than that if I would take the ones I have displayed in some greenery and put them on my tree!

I like your birds and have something to think about every Christmas now! Thanks!

  8. I should be abounding with good luck! I have all kinds of birds in mine...glass ones, feathery ones and wooden ones. I even have a pickle ornament which is a German tradition for good luck.
