Holiday

Every year my kids and grandkids and I get together and make gingerbread houses (out of graham crackers). We make a mess. We have fun. We make multiple batches of royal icing. We've burnt up mixers. There is competition. There is laughter. We're together. It is one of our traditions.

  1. Stevie, this is a wonderful picture! Your granddaughters look so focused and intent on getting it right! So cute! I really need to do this with my grandkids...just need to find the patience! :)

  2. Susan you don't need patience....you need a big broom for the clean up afterward!

The parents are always there too and everyone chips in on the clean up so it turns out fine.

  3. I made one once- took all day, then it collapsed! We had to stick it together with cocktail sticks!
