i was a geologist and
when i looked at rocks i saw minerals
and grains
and origins
now, i'm an artist and
i see patterns
and textures
and colors
they are equally valid
but i have to admit
i like the new me better

ReplyDeleteLove the color variations. A friend of mine majored in geology until she discovered art history. And she did her graduate work in Italian Renaissance. I love going to museums with her!
