on the drive home
from work yesterday
i was thinking...
hidden
what to do for this weeks theme...
as i looked up at my mountain
that towers over our valley
i thought to myself...
the peaks are hidden by the clouds...
this happens quite often
and changes the way
the valley sees this mountain.
the mountain is
the one thing i believe
makes this valley so special
i can always erase
a bad day
by spending a few
moments
with mt. sopris..
12,953 elev.
3 peaks
and only one
of them showing today
the front 2 peaks are
hidden

a little like the swiss alps how gorgeous and cloud and fog have a way of hiding things that suddenly appear again
