Unfortunately, we are over-populated with them here in central Ohio and they leave their nasty poop around all the lakes and ponds. They are beautiful though. I can remember twenty years ago when we would get excited about seeing them when they migrated through. Now they don't even bother to migrate.
I have to say ditto to what Susan said...when my children were small we all went swimming in the pond near my house...now it has been taken over by these geese...and fresh geese droppings!
