"For lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone;
the flowers appear on the earth;
the time of the singing of birds is come,
and the voice of the turtledove is heard in our land."
- Song of Solomon

The snowdrop is such a sweet and delicate flower. I saw these this weekend at Callaway Gardens and when I thought of posting for the theme "hope" I thought of these little flowers. They are known as the 'flower of hope' - a sign of life returning to the earth after the long winter months. I believe all flowers symbolize hope and rebirth as cold winter breaks to show signs of spring.

  1. Beautiful, I have never seen them before. take care.

  2. Yes, flowers give us so much hope. What a wonderful choice and shot.
