As my husband and I were driving in the country, we spotted him (just in time).
We watched him as he crept across the road toward the haven of grass that awaited him.
Did he know?
Did he know that his urge to cross the road could cost him everything.
No.
He focused on his mission, heading towards his goal and abandoned all fear...
Brilliant!

ReplyDeletesometime we could learn a lot from this little fellow. Taking a deep breath and moving forward one step at a time.

They do make it most of the time, or we wouldn't keep seeing them do it! Unfortunately, it's the ones who decide to cross at night that are hard to see.
ReplyDeleteGreat symbolism!
the way we should all be able to live -- with abandon and without fear. he's a cute little guy! and so gracious to allow his photo to be taken.
ReplyDelete...Mr O just saved another one the other day...I love your photo but I do think those turtles are more lucky than brave:)
