abandoned

Our little dog got hit by a car and was killed instantly last night. I moved her kennel to near our stairs that lead under our house for storage. I figured it was best to put it away because our two toddlers keep asking where she is.
I walked outside this morning and saw her kennel sitting in the rain ready to be put under our house and it looked so lost. Truly abandoned.

    Toni, I'm so sorry about your little dog. We lost one the same way many years ago, and I can still remember the numb feeling. I'll keep you and your little ones in my thoughts tonight.
