Not one place,
But a sensory experience -
Michigan.
Where water meets the shore
And trees blow gently in the breeze.
Where surf can be loud and boisterous,
or quiet and gentle.
Where thunder can create an echo
heard miles away.
Where friends and family gather,
and my heart sings.
Where I live is in my heart,
and travels with me.
Home is where my heart is,
and my love.
Not one place,
But a sensory experience -
Michigan.
Where water meets the shore
And trees blow gently in the breeze.
Where surf can be loud and boisterous,
or quiet and gentle.
Where thunder can create an echo
heard miles away.
Where friends and family gather,
and my heart sings.
Where I live is in my heart,
and travels with me.
Home is where my heart is,
and my love.

ReplyDeleteThank you for your kind words, everyone:). Every time we talk about moving, we get pulled back by a person, place, idea or event. We adore the state, and all it has to offer, 3 seasons of the year. Though it's beautifully in it's frozen beauty, we just can't handle the cold any more. But...we're still here:).
ReplyDeletebeautiful collage of your home! makes me wish i were curled up in the rocker under the tree with a coffee and a good book!
ReplyDeleteMe too - it's getting too chilly! Oh well. I'll move to the fireplace.
