I live in the south, the deep south.
Down here orange around this time of year means something altogether different from changing leaves and pumpkins
Orange stands for tradition, family, football.
The shade of orange is important, very important.
Too bright it's the Gators
Too much brown it's the Vols
But this, the perfect shade of orange stands for the Auburn Tigers.
The team I have been taught to cheer for since I was 4 years old.
And that is a beautiful thing.
WARRRRR EAGLE!!!!!
It's definitely the best of the SEC oranges...
ReplyDeletebut my heart bleeds crimson
:) *whispers* roll tide...
Well I 'm sitting on the fence on this one. Being from Alabama, living in the deep south myself. I don't watch football but my husband is for Auburn and my daughter and son-n-law are huge Alabama fans, as is my bestest friend! So...I enjoy riding the fence and watching the battle! Great show of orange!
ReplyDeleteI'm with Diahn...but you're right - orange or crimson - those can be fightin' words around here. :)
ReplyDeletebut at least both of us can be official gator haters! LOL
Well...I am a Midwestern Girl and we have some orange with our blue. Go Illini!
ReplyDeleteyou've got to love and respect that kind of tradition that is ingrained in 4 year olds!!
ReplyDeleteobviously very serious stuff, needs to be learned early.
ReplyDeleteGreat for the theme! My sister lived in Gainesville, FL and was a rabid Gators fan!
