  2. Your picture looks like an old postcard. Very pretty. I immediately thought of Longfellow's poem Evangeline in association with Arcadia.

  6. I should have mentioned in my post that this is an old postcard...maybe dated from the early 1900's...The village looks a little less barren now...

    It gets cold here in southern New England but not unbearable...

  8. beautiful postcard you've found there and like stevie, i always think of evangeline when i think of arcadia. and then i think of louisana because cajuns is a derivative of arcadians. and i love cajun food.
