Love the photo...so retro cute! All of these passion posts have spurred memories in me. We used to make homemade ice cream at my Grannie and Grandaddy's. Grandaddy and I would take turns turning the crank handle out on the cement picnic table they had in their yard. Thank you for bringing back these happy good time thoughts! :)
I agree with Cora and Elk, Making ice cream in our old house on the farm. I think I was about five, I had not remembered this for along long time. Thankyou.
Oh, I love chocolate soft-serve ice cream! We used to ride our bikes to the local Freez-ett and get a small chocolate cone and a bag of potato chips for a quarter. I would dip the chips into the ice cream. It's the best taste!
mmm! I loved ice cream as a kid, too. I think it may have been that I loved the little trip in the car down to the local ice cream drive in where they actually hand dipped our cones in any flavor we could imagine....I can still taste the strawberry cheesecake, triple scoop cone!
reminds me of my grandparents... i think my favorite kind as a child was vanilla, same as my grandpa.
