I'm not much of a hot tea or coffee drinker, mostly because I don't like hot drinks. But when I'm feeling icky (like I do today) I always reach for the cinnamon stick tea and honey, like my grandma used to make for us when we were ill. It's good on the throat and warms my soul.
Dani ... sorry you're under the weather but this looks like the best home remedy ... that and snuggling under a comfy blanket. Your Grandma was a true healer, wasn't she?!
ReplyDeleteThis sounds delicious, I'd think I'd sneak a few of these in even if I was well.

Cinnamon and honey have great healing properties. Your grandma was very wise. Well wishes, Dani, feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteDani, I hope you are feeling better soon, your tea and a bowl of chicken noodle soup. that is my cure. Take care.
ReplyDeleteMy mother always put a little whiskey in that tea and honey if we were sick...I still do it to this day if I have a cold and it works better than any OTC med:)
ReplyDeleteI did not know this...hope you feel better soon!
