Oh my yes ... tomatoes like that are made to be breaded and fried! Then piled on top of some cheese grits and topped with sausage gravy ... (all the Southerners in the house please raise your hands...) :-D Just slice them, dip them in your favorite milk & egg mix, then dredge them into your favorite flour and cornmeal mix, and fry them up! (Lots of salt and pepper ... some people sugar them just a little, between the dipping and the dredging...) At least that's how we do it here!
