early morning on my porch...

I watch my new prayer flags blow in the wind
waiting patiently for them to fade in the sun
and
shred a bit from the wind
~~
I love them
but
when they are weathered like an old soul
then I think I'll be able to believe that they are actually working

  1. Beautiful angle and light in this photo - I love how the wind has captured the red flag and started it moving...

  3. I plan to hang prayer flags when I move into my new home and I love the idea of them fading and weathering, just as they do in the mountains of Tibet and Nepal.

They're a lovely reminder that good will and compassion are carried by the wind to all. What a great start to the day!
