Through My Window!

My housse was built in 1912 and the home still has the original windows. The windows were actually the reason I fell in love with the house. We walked in and it was so nice and bright that I instantly fell in love.
I made the glass for the front window and now it is even brighter still. It casts the most beautiful sparkles across the room and little prisms bounce on my walls. During the day the windows are wide open, so I can see what is going on around me. I can look out and passersby can see in. Often people stop and ask me about  the glass in my window! There is one problem with these old windows, they still have the old storm windows and they are a pain to clean. The cost to replace them all is outrageous and to me they give the house character. I figure if you don't have money to change them, you better like them.. I have walls, and windows and doors and a roof over my head. At my home the door is always open!
And if you stay long enough, I might get you to help clean  these windows, once in the spring and once in the
fall. An open window, with a breeze flowing in, and I with a book in hand, I am not closed off from the world. There it is just outside.

  5. An old house with new windows can look so glaringly wrong. I fall in love with the windows of a house before anything else!
