Holiday

Confession time.
I know the season celebrates the birth of our Lord (for some of us).
But with a 7 & an 8 and a half year old...the big, jolly guy is "da man".
He sees if you've been bad or good, so be good for goodness sake...
Yep, I get some leverage this time of year.
Me and Santa? We're tight. I've got his e-mail and I'm not afraid to use it.
Ho, Ho, Ho!

  1. Leverage is good! And it doesn't work that often so we have to use it when we can. Good for you, mama!!

  3. He gave you his email. I've got his phone number and I can call it any time, just have to pick up that phone and my 7 and 9 year old are as good as gold.

  5. I had to laugh, thinking of all the times I have heard my sisters threaten to call Santa if their children were not good. It could change their attitudes around in a hurry. Love the santa and the lighting.

  6. Just yesterday our oldest grandson (8) asked Poppy if he thought he had been a good enough boy all year for Santa to bring him presents. Poppy told him not to worry about the whole year, just be good from now on. That seemed to appease him and then on the ride home he must have forgotteen, because he got in trouble for pestering his little sister! Kids! You gotta love 'em!

I'm just happy that at 8 years old, they still believe in Santa!

  8. How funny! Yep -- I agree -- Santa IS "da man" and I don't think there's anything wrong with that! The world would be a better place if we were all like Santa, don't you think?
