Journey


Just when the caterpillar
thought the world was over,
he became a butterfly.


My daughter is fascinated and I reluctantly agree to allow her a few caterpillars. (I don't like to see living creatures caged up.) However, it is a wonderful cycle of nature to watch.
And it beats taking care of tadpoles - 25 of them to be exact.
Never again.

  2. Brought back wonderful memories as a kid watching the changes with tadpoles and caterpillars-you are giving your children priceless memories and an education.

  4. ...my grandson has a tankful of tadpoles right now....but I'm not taking care of them so it is fun!...This catepillar looks like the dreaded gypsy moth...they give me the creeps I'm afraid to say:)
