abandoned

I have abandoned and neglected my tomato plants.
Gone are the delicious ripe savory tastes of my summer tomatoes.
Have a wonderful weekend...

    Yep...there's still hope...trim back the dead stuff and water it good and it should spring back to life. Mine did! There's always hope!

    add a little water, a few sweet words of encouragement and i agree, those green tomatoes will be in the pink before you know it. i always find that it's easy to tend a new garden but by late summer it seems like more of a chore than a treat!

    Hmmm... looks like they ought to be picked and served up as fried green tomatoes to me...

    you could pick the last few and ripen them via the warmth of a window sill. Maybe it's time for some new seasons planting.

    my garden has sadly been abandoned as well. i start out all gung-ho and then by late August I give it up. i just don't have a green thumb.
    i bet you'll get some good tomatoes off that plant yet, though.
