add a little water, a few sweet words of encouragement and i agree, those green tomatoes will be in the pink before you know it. i always find that it's easy to tend a new garden but by late summer it seems like more of a chore than a treat!
...HaHaHa...I almost took a similar picture for this project...and I have to say my tomato plant looks MUCH worse than yours!...Talk about neglected and abandoned! You really made me smile today... Thanks!
my garden has sadly been abandoned as well. i start out all gung-ho and then by late August I give it up. i just don't have a green thumb. i bet you'll get some good tomatoes off that plant yet, though.
uh-oh...
ReplyDeletehope you have a great weekend too
Oh, I don't know...I think there's still hope in those green ones hanging on tenaciously.
ReplyDeleteYep...there's still hope...trim back the dead stuff and water it good and it should spring back to life. Mine did! There's always hope!

ReplyDeletelaura this made me smile...because I do the same ~
ReplyDeleteoops...although the tomatoes still look okay....no ?
ReplyDeleteyou could pick the last few and ripen them via the warmth of a window sill. Maybe it's time for some new seasons planting.
ReplyDeleteWhat were you doing in my yard. lol. Apparently we use the same technique. Great post.
ReplyDeleteI have one of these too...I must remember to water it tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteGreat shot...says so much.
