orange you glad i didn't say banana

when i saw the theme this week, thought - great, this will be a phone in because i have this beautiful orange hat (circa 1940's). so i paired it with my little brownie hawkeye and began to shoot.

and delete.format.shoot. repeat as needed.

somehow this color is eluding me. it's either too bright, too harsh, too...something. but, i stuck with it. out of 50ish shots - i got one i didn't hate. reds and oranges are difficult to photograph for me. they tend to overpower my senses and blow out my sensors.

  8. The velvety orange texture lit by the softness of the diffused sunshine is a welcome warm & cozy feeling on my 48 degree misty rainy pacific northwest mountain morning.
